Ratcliff Farms

Welcome to Ratcliff Farms! We are the Ratcliff’s, and we embarked on a remarkable journey when we decided to move to the countryside and open our very own farm with our wonderful kids.

We are the Ratcliffs
Nice to meet you

Our story began when we, as a family, purchased a degraded farm that was in desperate need of love, care, and revival. We saw this not as an obstacle, but as an opportunity to create a beautiful, flourishing oasis together with our children.

Thus began our adventure, growing our farm and our children side by side, nurturing both with diligence, commitment, and boundless love. Purchasing this property, we were fueled by a dream to refurbish the land, provide a haven for our children to flourish, and cultivate a business that would aid in nurturing our community with fresh, nutrient-rich, locally grown food. And here we are, witnessing that dream unfurl into reality!

Our Farms Journey

We embarked on this journey with a simple yet profound vision: To create an environment that enriches the lives of our kids, our animals, and our community. One of our crucial missions is to help our buzzing buddies, the bees. These tiny insects play a gigantic role in helping our crops to grow. By creating hospitable habitats for them, we're working towards restoring their populations, thus contributing to nature’s balance.

We’re also passionate about treading lightly on the planet, preserving its bounties for generations to come. That's why we've integrated the power of the sun into our daily operations, employing solar power to run our farm as efficiently as possible. We're also firm believers in nurturing the earth to nurture us back. That's why our objective goes beyond cultivating crops and raising animals.

Where we see ourselves

We want to foster a sense of community and inspire mindful consumption – from buying local honey buzzing with goodness to choosing farm-fresh eggs that taste better, are healthier, and just as affordable as your store-bought ones. Our doors are always open for visitors who want to meet our animals up close. From the clucking hens that lay your breakfast eggs to the bees that furnish your honey, you're welcome to meet them all.
